Musical samples are all offered in an MP3 format and can be downloaded or played on line. These are edited versions of the original songs available from the CD's. Our goal was to provide a sampling of the style of music expected from each CD. Although this music is very similar, there are some distinct differences in the recording styles, instrumental voicings and arrangements. If you are interested in downloading entire songs for playing on the air contact us and we can send you links for that purpose.
New Balance - Our first recording. The primary goal was to capture a variety of acoustic and electric guitar duets in an open-air recording studio. Since our target market was Spa's, Salon's and massage therapists, we did not go to great lengths to reduce the white noise captured on these recordings and felt that in someway this adds to the relaxing open air freshness of these simple melodies. Our feedback has been, "relaxing, reflective and soothing".
Guitar Melodies - As with our original recording "New Balance", these are primarily guitar duets incorporating bass and electric guitars on a couple of tunes reflecting a jazz influence and unique improvisational style. These recordings are without drums or traditional rhythm sections trying to establish that it doesn't have to have a great beat to be musically entertaining. This CD has been described as "a nice variety of background dinner music for a gathering of friends".
City Life - This is our latest recording and comes as close to main stream contemporary intrumentalism as we have gotten. Many of the tunes on this CD do incorporate a more traditional rhythm section as well as synthesized components for a more commercially viable sound. City Life has been described as "light, upbeat and catchy". Many have commented on the commercial possibilities of "City Life and Urban Bumpkins".
